I totally agree, I wish we would go back to playing cupcakes, that was always so exciting!

All truth be told, we should drop out of D-1 altogether, that way we can rule the DII and play the western kentuckys and north southern iowas until our heads explode.

I like who we're playing just because we need the rude awakening early to get us over the hump in some games we might lose otherwise.  On The Drive last night a girl drove around Lawrence trying to see if anyone knew who ku was playing this weekend and only one guy out of ten people had any clue.  We'll be on National TV.

I still want my cooler, bitches!

Yep.  Getting our rectums torn out by Auburn will show our guys that they aren't as good as they think, but we'll get some fantastic callouses.   However, the guys will be too physically and mentally decimated the week after to stop SJS and will pick up our second loss...but it will be OK because it will really test us, and probably add at least two layers to our callouses.

Missouri State will be shocked and awed by the size of our callouses.  They won't know what hit  them.  Then, we'll go on the road to take on Texas...they'll destroy us of course, but we'll be even more calloused because of it.  I am thinking four or five layers added...minimum.

Then, we get Kansas.  The best part of all is that by this time ku will not have built up any callouses...they'll just be punch-drunk on their great self esteem from 4 wins in a row.  This will be no contest.  Everyone knows that callouses are better than confidence....I say we beat ku by 20...and pick up some nice layers on our callouses.

I've been more excited for an opener (back when we were awesome), and I've been way less excited for an opener (2005 and probably 2006, save for the fact that it was Prince's first game).

I love that we're playing Auburn.

We'll lose Saturday, but the defense and special teams will play well, and it won't be as bad as everybody thinks it's going to be.  Offense will suck.

I'm pretty excited.  Playing Auburn will pay dividends in the future, win (YES!) or lose.  I'm not optimistic about this year, but the future is bright.

What if...What if ...  What if we blow out Aurburn?  What will the talking heads say then?  I predict a 34 - 10 KSU win.  K-State stuns SEC.  Aurburn then goes on to win the SEC. KSU wins the Big XII and we play USC in the BCS championship game which we win by 40 points.  Yeah  thats it!

If ...

Absolutely horrible scenario.  When was the last time anyone ever developed callouses in a blow-out.  This is why we'll crush ku this year.  They will have no callouses.

We had all better hope that we get our azzes whipped.

Yeah right!  Its much better to get beat than to win a game.  Better to win close than to whoop ass.  We better lose all our games so that we are ready for ku.  What a load of crap. Just win baby.

Losing is for  ....... losers!

So replacing an entire offensive line is going to be a piece of cake for Auburn?  Their depth on the offensive line is so amazing that a bunch of first-year starters are going to dominate the likes of Rob Jackson and Ian Campbell?

I think not.

Auburn is even weaker than last year. If you can't take them down this year, you shouldn't be playing ball..  :chirp:

I'd rather play 3 sh1tty teams and at least keep the fantasy for awhile. (2005...when we beat north texas... )

I wish Snyder would have scheduled games like this during the DOD.  :onthecan:

I don't know why you wouldn't be excited.  You have issues, man.

Issues? Are you serious? I'm seriously a perfect KSU fan.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Auburn's offense is going to be abysmal.  I wouldn't be surprised if K-State's defense and special teams helped bring home the 'W.'

shutup. rutgers offense was abysmal last year, and they still tore our ass up.

Pre-emtive "just in case you guys win" strikes...allows him to cover all his bases, high FBIQ stuff.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

that's the thing about jayhox, dude is so arrogant he doesn't even employ that method...he knows his stuff is good enough to attack us from both ends.
