Lawrence Kickoff

There was a Lawrence area Catbackers kickoff party tonight. Bill Snyder was there and talked for about ten minutes (said that we would be fine, not to worry). Wyatt and Tim Fitzgerald also talked and these are a few of the things that I remember.

1. Basically the O-Line Sucks and it will take a few years to make it better.

2. Deon Murphy=Andre Coleman, Ernie Pierce = Darnell McDonald. Murphy should be big in the return game and Pierce should start to come along as a receiver as the season goes on. LaMark is a freak athlete who could play any position, but don't look for him to do a lot this year at WR.

3. Jordy (if he can stay healthy) is a big key and an NFL type WR.

4. Viers (sp?) worked really, really hard over the summer and everyone likes him (will probably start).

5. Wyatt saw Bill Walker the other day and no one should be worried about his weight. He is slim.

Also...A football season parking pass went for like $300. Do people really not care about tailgaiting anymore? I thought about pulling the trigger but decided against it.

$300 to park.  I can pay individually to park across the street and pay $60 for the whole season.  Or I can go to Chance and take the shuttle bus.

   Pending Wyatt's def of slim, but saw him yesterday and he's no KG (or DK for that matter).    

Lean would be a better term, but I wouldn't say he's the leanest on the team.
