Here's what I'm thinking it'll be @ Auburn...

DE- Rob Jackson
DT- Steven Cline
DE- Moses Manu

OT- Alesana Alesana
OG- Brock unruh or Logan Robinson
C- Jordan Bedore
OG- Gerard Spexarth or Logan Robinson
OT- Nick Stringer

But by the end of the season, I'm hoping it's something like this...

DE- Rob Jackson
DT- Xavier Stewart
DE- Michael Abana (I think he could do DE better than anybody else)

OT- Alesana Alesana
OG- Clyde Aufner (not sure about guard, but he's gonna be good anywhere I think)
C- Jordan Bedore
OG- Ben Lui or Logan Robinson
OT- Nick Stringer

Worst o-line in Big 12?

= to or better than ku's OL.  Two returning starters at OT only buffers the loss of 110-plus career starts on the interior.

Big 12 North OL

1) Mizzou - two 4th year starters at the two most important positions: Speiker at center and Luellen at LT.  Madison is returning starter at LG.  New starter at RG kurtis Gregory is talented.
2) Nebraska - Slauson one of the conference top guards.  Byford returns at center.  Starters at tackle are as talented as any in the conference in Murtha and Nicks.
3) KSU - Bedore and Stringer are becoming two of the better players at their positions in the conference.  A lot of returning experience.
4) Colorado - light on scholarship numbers but have 4 players returning w/ considerable experience
5) ku - replace entire interior OL despite tackle positions being solid
6) Iowa State - replace 4 starters

What I love about ku fans.  They have had exactly one good season from their OL in Mangino's years as head coach.  One.  And now they think they're just going to reload or something.  To listen to beak fans one would think they are going to line up w/ Anthony Munoz, John Hannah, Mike Webster, Bruce Matthews, and Jackie Slater.

Texas fans are concerned about their OL and they have returning starters at tackle but their interior OL was gutted.  I repeated...Texas fans are concerned...ku fans, no worries.  Good stuff.

I'd put AD Mayes as top 10 lineman in Big 12 north.  Absolute stud.  You know he's good if he came from Manhattan.

Also anyone think X will start over Cline?  I think Auburn's o-line will allow him to ease into the rest of the OOC.

for Auburn
DE- Jackson
NG- Cline
DE- Manu

LT- Alesana
LG- Robinson
C- Bedore
RG- Spexarth
RT- Stringer

starters don't matter too much in the d-line because they are going to rotate.  Jackson is the only guy that won't be heavily rotated in for.  We'll see Abana, Balkcom, and maybe even Faustin get snaps at end and we'll see Crews and Stewart get snaps at NG.

On offense I think Viers will eventually start at center and Bedore will move to left guard.  I don't see it happening at Auburn just because of it being a road game in front of 87,000.  Crowd noise makes it very hard on the center especially if we go out of the gun which it sounds like we are going to do some this year.  I still remember Bedore's first start at OU it was ugly and a bad snap early put us in a hole from the start and seemed to rattle the entire team.  Don't want that to happen at Auburn I think that is a low scoring game you want to play it close to the vest and try to win it in the end.

You sure about ku's tackle positions being solid?  This from LJWorld a few days ago, Rodriguez demoted or something?

• The first-team offensive line looked strikingly different. Anthony Collins (left tackle) and Ryan Cantrell (center) were there as expected, but the rest of the line consisted of junior Rameses Arceo (left guard), junior Chet Hartley (right guard) and freshman Ian Wolfe (right tackle). Longtime starter Cesar Rodriguez appeared to be working with the second team.

Ian Wolfe signed with ku over Wisconsin and K-State.  He's our best o-line prospect aside from Anthony Collins, and if he's playing with the 1st team, it's a good sign for ku fans.

good signs for ku football...really, are you still pinning your hopes on good signs?
LOL @ ku football program defender  :flush:

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Would you consider it a good sign if Lamark Brown was running with the 1st team offense?

Although I do think our o-line is terrible, if I had to rank it, I'd say -

NU
MU
ku
KSU
CU
ISU

I don't think it's ever a good sign that a linebacker is one of our top two WR's.

K-State fans have been pimping this guy at WR for months now, and Prince moved him to LB?

Stringer signed w/ KSU over OU and Les Miles was trying to get him down to LSU for a visit the last weekend before signing day since an OL decommitted on him the week prior.  Miles was the first to offer Stringer at OSU...then he left following that season.

Alesana turned down aTm.

So what is your point?

Again, congrats on your tackles.  Anthony Collins is good but let's not get carried away.  1 does not = 5.

This is why you're a terrible poster.

Are you going to run it towards Collins every single play??
