Weird. When I transfered to UNL from a Cal State, they didn't except most of my previous credits I earned at a Cal State. Including intro to crim, sociology, weight training, intro to psych. Bastards!

Dude, that says as much about the Cal St. schools as it does about UNL.  Man I hope you won that education package in the bottom of a cracker jack box because it isn't gonna help you much outside the state of Nebraska.  Don't residents of California get to go to the Cal St. schools for free?

HAHAHA No, Calif. residents DO NOT get to go to those for free. Maybe if you are an illegal, which there are tons of them. I was at Cal State Fullerton and my in-state tuition was twice as much as my out of state tuition at UNL. Yes, I realize the whole standard of living and everything. Plus I have a very good job right now as a juvenile probation officer in Lincoln and have just received a job offer for a postion in Sacramento. Not too bad with that UNL degree.

Guess there is no tuition for residents, but there are charged "fees."  Still, 3 grand for college (per academic year) in California is reasonable considering the cost of living difference.  I was just kidding about the worthlessness of your degree.  Congrats on the opportunity back in Cali.  One of my best friends is out in San Luis Obispo, and he loves it out there.

Yeah, I know you were ribbin' me. But at Fullerton I was paying something like $22k a year in state and commuting to campus. At UNL I was paying around $15k a year out of state, but picked up some scholarships
I was very surprised that they did not ACCEPT a lot of my classes as transferable, when most schools including USC, UCLA, USD and other larger schools would. But then again, those were in Calif too. O well.
