I agree. They kept it in house during a tought time, it'd be stupid to do otherwise. And as for the bad record, I'm pretty sure he didn't have the caliber players he'll get at Wake that he did at Loyola and Army.   If they can make it through 07, things will be alright for the Forest.

I'm no expert, but I don't think Frank Martin's background is all that different from Bill Seff's.  I think Seff might have coached at one mid-major before he went to ku.  Seff was a long time high school coach, though.  Just like Frank Martin was.

Frank Martin was banned?  Banned from what?  Certainly not from coaching in Florida, as EVIDENCED by the FACT that he subsequently coached at Booker T Washington HIGH SCHOOL in FLORIDA AFTER the Miami High fiasco. 

There were players that were BANNED from playing, but Martin was NOT banned nor was he named in the Miami High School sanctions.
