I can't imagine him willingly leaving when he was going to be a starter.

I wonder what he could have done to get kicked off this close to the season?

*All assumptions.

Why is he leaving?  Doesn't like it here anymore?  Homesick?  Injured?  What?

I'm considering revising my longstanding 3-9 prediction to 2-10.   :onthecan:

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Thank God.  He's bring dragging this team down for far too long.  The word is that he was caught drawing in a white comb over (a la Bill Snyder) on the famous Ron Prince photo and got booted off the team.  Poor guy just couldn't let go.  Did Ron over-react?  Hell yes, he did.  Is that why we love him?  Hell yes, it is.  Now let's go out there and cheer our asses off this season.  GO CATS!  &@#% 'EM UP, STATE!!!

    This ZERO is my Hero
We still have some depth there, Cline, Crews, Balkom, Stewart, and Faustain, Abana.  Last year we had Blake Seiler in there half the year.
The talent is there, its young, but hopefully, it will step up.

All that said, still wish Moran was around.

How does one person make us go from 6-6 to 4-8?  You guys are truly amazing.  Like a bunch of chicken hawk fans.

This is really depressing news.  We really need him this season.  We can't afford to lose DL depth...not good.
Show me defense.

This isn't good but I think some are overreacting.  Crews and Stewart are going to have to step up for sure. Cline will be the starter and is the only experienced guy we have.  We may also have to get Abana and Balkcom some work in the middle as well.  At least we're running a 3-4 so we only need one DT type on the field at a time rather then 2.  We  have enough depth to start the year and be fine we just need to hope we don't have anyone go down at that spot for any length of time.

More then anything I'm disapointed that Moran never fulfilled his potential at K-State.  I was hoping this would be the year he would step up but I guess it was never meant to be.  He had the talent to be a very good player at KSU and at times played at a high level.  Just never grew up and put it all together.  I think he was one of the Snyder hold overs that just never got totally on board with Prince.  Hopefully just about all those guys are gone now.

Times like this are when Ron reaches down deep and asks himself "What would Al Groh do?"

Hmmmmm, did you happen to catch the Rutgers or ku game last year?????  Like when Ray Rice and John Cornish ran for 200+ yards in consecutive weeks on us to round out the season.

Interior DT's that can stop the run are sort of important.

A two game swing?  Easily.

I wonder when exactly he quit.  Was it because X was a stud and started from day one?  IMO this is probably it.
