while 5-8/5-9 cornerbacks or RB's are aplenty in NCAA football..you have to look far and wide to see a 5-9 starting QB.

but, but, but Flutie..

They brag about how good Reesing looked against Colorado and Iowa State..

but when we point out that Freeman also dominated these sucky crapty teams it is disregarded as fluke.

Of course, Flutie-lite has never beaten a ranked team so we won't talk about Freeman's national player of the week award.

it never happened. :eyeseeyou:

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

If Billy wouldn't of gotten injured in the 2003 game against us they would've won. :loly:

Didn't Whitty turn the ball over twice before bowing out with his injury??

According to BMW, ku has a great collection of WRs (much better than ours) so Reesing should put up some big numbers in the passing game

Reesing to Fields =  :kugayfight:

I was just informed by flaredog (a fairly level headed an objective guy over there)...that Reesing is closer to 5' 10"..

shorter that most QB's....

It is funny that our guys Prince recruited that were one inch shorter were labeled midgets....that's all.

A guy named FreznoChip posted this...

Quote
He also has a part time job being tossed at bachelor parties around the Lawrence area. And before you KSU start flaming about NCAA violations, you should know that it was approved as an acceptable form of income for a man of Reesings "talents" by an NCAA committee

Our QB is 9 inches taller than him.  Seriously.

...and your 6'6 QB throws 2 INT's for every TD.  Congrats.

That ratio will change this year.  Your QB won't get any taller without platform cleats.

Reesing's height didn't stop Bill Snyder from offering a scholarship.

Food for thought.

Yeah....we know for the 100th time.  But remind me, do we have the same offense as we did under Snyder? Not nearly. Back then we were an option offense, looking for an option quarterback.

Mangino backed off though after Freeman committed to Nebraska.

You have to love  ku fans trying to act like they are  more excited about a 5'9" QB over a 6'6' future NFL QB.
