The more they deviated from the original storyline, the worse the story got. JPI was pretty good. JPII had major differences between it and the book. It was ok. JPIII was a complete make-up of a script, which put the movie somewhere between "abortion" and "A nite in the sack with Rosie O'Donnell." I will have no desire to see JPIV in the theater, but since I like B-grade movies, I will probably watch it once it hits TV.
