I'm not sure just how connected Mr. Clark is to the Wildcat Nation. It'll obviously take years before he is able to establish the type of rapport with the big donors that Ernie had. I've seen Ernie come in to my family before and when he asks for money, he's the only one that could be as forthright and blunt as he was and still get away with it.
Has anyone heard what the real reason was that he left? I've heard rumblings that it wasn't necessarily his idea and he didn't want to leave.
