recruitng is so bad? How is it bad. Why would u base it off of stars? I think Prince knows a lot more than any of u guys. Josh Moore 2*. Jeron MAstrud 2*. Leon Patton 3*. Josh Freeman 4*. All fresh,man all american. How many did u have with your high recruits?

If you are asking for a Husker fan to explain why KSU recruiting is bad (i think thats what you want)  then...

I don't really think your recruiting is bad.  Bad at this point would be 2 recruits, with 2 stars or less.  There are lots of schools off to a bad start.  KSU isn't one of them.

KSU certainly is not setting the recruiting world on fire either though.  You guys have taken a decent amount of kids for this point in the year, and some of them have some real talent.  I wouldn't call any of them "blue chip" but most schools never get any of those anyway.

KSU is probably middle of the road in recruiting, but not terrible by any stretch.

i agree with that. Some of u guys base it off of stars and annoy a lot of us. Its just some people dont even give the low stars chances. Maybe they got overlooked or something? Maybe they weren't big enough? Like your Parish recruit. low star bbut has a lot of raw talent, just has bad technique. Our incoming freshman Xavier Stewart was 6'1 260 with a 4.7 40. Now he is 6'1 304 pounds and runs a 4.7 40! I dont know but that is extremely fast for a guy that size. He is bigger and faster than the #1 dt tackle out of highschool. He will be huge for us.

I think its all relative to your expecations for your program (which, nobody around here seems to be able to define). I don't think the type of players you're recruiting are going to win you a Big 12 title anytime soon. It could be that you pull off the occasional upset (ie Texas last year) and have a year where you have a bunch of experienced players, which contributes to a decent season every few years. However, if you consisently want to be a Big 12 title contender each year, I don't think Prince's recruiting methods are going the way to accomplish that. My own personal belief is that the guy is on a three-four year plan where he can have a very experienced team in 2008 and 09 and try to win the Big 12 North or Big 12. If he succeeds, it looks like you graduate all that experience and then eat horse turds for about 3 more years until another experiended group comes along.

I don't believe that for a second.  adding 50 pounds in just a few months and not losing a iota of speed.  Not even close

Dangerous to who? Talentwise you guys are probably middle of the pack in the Big 12, and competing with the likes of Kansas for 3rd place in the Big 12 North. You're consistently outrecruited by Nebraska, Texas, Oklahoma, and even teams like Kansas who keep bringing in more and better talent each year. The gap between you and the a shot at the conference championship continues to grow.

Stewart was around 280 last season.  The 260 was the Spring before when he was trying to get bigger having played LB earlier in high school.

And I hope nobody believes he runs a true 4.7...if he did he would be as fast as some of Nebraska's safeties.  He moves well for a DT but not Nebraska secondary well.

I did something earlier on rivals that said about only 40% of the top 40 recruits from 2002, panned out. All of our high profile guys, never panned out. With an exception of Freeman. Lucky was a 5*. Not trying to bash him, but he is not what everyone expected. Unless he breaks out this year. He goes down without being hit.

If you feel a need to change the rules with regard to Husker fans to keep them from owning you on the message board to the degree our team owns yours on the football field, I understand.

In fact, we should spot you guys 28 or so points, give you five downs rather than four, make FGs worth five points, TDs worth ten, etc. just to even the odds a bit.

Or you could man up and stop trying to change the rules to prevent Nebraska from dominating you yet again.

If you feel that way, there is no debate that I can afford to change your mind.  Most of the nonsense that has befallen you on these boards are of your own making.  I can reference many out and out flames, boasts, etc. that have caused this. 

Healthy debate of the relative merits and demerits of your preferred school is allowed and even smack, dissing, digs, etc. are allowed on these boards.  If you really see the need to flame, use the litter box, I'm sure you will find worthy adversaries there.

Also, there are fans of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and its sports teams that do frequent these boards and post in a reasonable manner.  If you don't post in a reasonable manner on an opponents sports forums you can and do open yourself to all sorts of ridicule. 

I am not posting this to change your posting habits.  I am posting this to get you to think about what you post.
