I guess Freeman's 2.5 to 1 INT to TD ratio didn't impress anyone.

Was Keller a finalist when he was a sophomore?

Preseason lists are pretty cool.  Freeman got Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week honors last year, twice, for, you know, actual on the field performance.  Maybe if there's a "Micheal Irvin Coked out of your mind" award, Keller could win that, if Lucky doesn't beat him out.

If KSU and NU can't put aside their differences to crap (wincrimson if you will) on a SEC school, what hope is there for Big 12??

The thing Auburn and Nebraska have in common is that they're both going to beat K-State by 20+ points this season.

Our coaches met with Auburn's after the bowl game, and shared a significant amount of K-State film and a detailed scouting report.

Yes, because god knows that in this whacky age of information and technology that film and scouting reports on KSU were not available anywhere else for Auburn but from the NU Coaching Staff.

In a related note, Bill Callahan offered to fellate Tommy Tubberville in the bathroom after one lengthy chalk talk.

I'm sure the Auburn defensive coaches were all ears to hear defensive tactics from a coaching staff who let this clown throw for 405 yards against them last year.  In Lincoln.

Actually they were all ears to hear from a team that came down to Manhattan and pasted you guys last year, and has proven over the years they just owned you.

The problem with that is, no one on your coaching staff has any experience owning us.  Yeah, you beat us last year, but so did Baylor.  Think Auburn will be calling up Morris anytime soon?  Hell, ku has also taken 2 out of 3 from us.  Crngrats to finally achieving Mangino-like status Slash.  The fact is, Tuberville asked Slash for some advice on how to defend us, not out of curiosity but out of mockery.  It's kinda like when you call your three hundred pound buddy "Tiny."  But Slash didn't get the joke, poor Tuberville felt bad for him and let him watch some film with the Auburn staff.  Slash was asked to leave after he continually tried the patented "fake a yawn and put your arm around your date."  Also, Slash cut a hole in the popcorn bucket and asked Tuberville if he would like some of "ol' Slashes secret recipe."  Rumor has it that the final straw was in fact (as mentioned in a different thread on this very board) when Slash offered to fellate the entire Auburn staff in the showers after the film was over. (It was incorrectly quoted on this board as Slash offering to fellate only Tuberville, I regret the error.)  Of course, the staff declined the offer, but Tuberville did make him "squeal like a pig" back at Slashes hotel.

Congrats.  That's a hell of an accomplishment...bottling up KSU's offense last year.  You must be so proud.

BTW, Cosgrove's total defense rankings while @ NU...56th (2004), 26th (2005), 56th (2006).  Restore the order, indeed.

Great news about Keller!  Why?  Because maybe the semi-retarded Nubb fanbase will shut the hell up about getting no respect from the national media.  If you consider your QB has a total of four...YES FOUR...division one wins in his four...yes FOUR...year career, then you'd understand there is little reason for any of the accolades he's getting in the pre-season.

Congrats!  Now shut the hell up!

Your D is overrated by K-State fans, and will be overmatched against our offense.

Our running game will benefit from an improved offensive line, and a bunch of talented RBs in Lucky, Glenn, Culbert, Mendoza, etc. I expect Lucky to have a dominant season. He has a couple of years of experience in the system, and reportedly has looked phenomenal in practices.

We have far superior talent, almost across the board, and will thoroughly dominate you this season. The location is almost irrelevant, as we showed last season when we pasted you in Manhattan.

I agree with you...what an asinine oversight.  How could they have put some putz like Keller on their list and leave the massive potential that is Freeman off the list.  Thanks for the find.  Glad we are in agreement about how stupid that oversight was!

I love NUbb fans.

Keller: "tearing up" the practice squad.

Gabbert: "on par learning curve wise with NFL QB's".

Lucky: "phenomenal in practices".

You can't make this stuff up. :woohoo:
