USC's the school du jour.  If they wanna go out there and play, USC will be on TV more than they are now (to the extent that the PAC-10 FSN deal allows it).  Tim Floyd has NBA experience, obviously, so I could see the draw...it's lovely southern california, after all.

It'll be interesting to see, but if we lose them to USC, I'm not gonna cry about it.  I love KSU and Manhattan, but I can't blame anyone for picking SoCal.

Following this will be interesting.  Mayo of all the guys seems to enjoy the attention the most.  After the weekend it seems like Walker and Mayo are back to package deal status, but that could still change several times before this is done.

I like that we have plenty of other interest out there.  Beasley seems to really be warming to us and I like that he is now saying "I told Coach Huggins that I'm going to play for him".  It may be semantics, but its not just about the Hill connection, Hill seems to be selling Beasley on Huggins so its not just about Hill.  Its not like we heard a lot of "I'm looking forward to playing for Coach Lutz" comments from before.  I think we land Beasley and we have a great shot at Pope and probably still Walker.  More and more I don't see Mayo ever playing here.  Then we have connections to Top 100 AJ Stewart and an offer out to Top 100 Anthony McClain (from the DC area) and Dante Jackson, who isn't Top 100, but has offers from Michigan and Xavier.

Ding! Ding! Ding!  We have a winner!  USC has excellent snob appeal but it's right smack in the middle of the &@#%ing ghetto.  Stray off campus and you'll be dodging bullets even in the middle of the afternoon.  Pepperdine on the other hand is in a sweet area.
