Stunner, just for you - Gary Chandler said he spoke just the other day with Chris Harper. He said he's trying to get "a bunch" of the Wichita kids to attend K-State. He said his talk with Harper went well. He agreed with my sentiment that if K-State lets Chris have a shot at quarterback, the Cats will probably land Harper. Remember, I'm not reporting this as fact. I mean, the conversation with Chandler happened, and yes, that's what we talked about. But I'm not guaranteeing Harper to KSU. I don't want to go down this road again. I don't like having my words twisted.

I think our coaches should promise Harper the starting QB job if that's what it will take to get him to come to KSU so he can play LB.
