Looks like a kid that, with a few years, could be a heck of a player. Certainly has the athleticism. Nebraska filling up fast. Jonas Gray #1 player out of Michigan expected to announce for NU Friday.

    The very best.
Parish? Did we even offer him?
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I fully expect # 6 in the next 3 years.  Anything less and I'll kill myself if I were a husker fan.

I'm pretty sure Prince said "Thanks, but no thanks" to this kid.  Sucks to be nu right now.

I doubt it. Probably too busy zeroing in the Roepkes, Drinkgerns and Burrises of the world.

What's your NC timetable Maxell???

They need a few more North Championship trophies in their case before they think about a NC.  BTW what's a North Champ trophy look like?

2009 is shaping up to be a year for legit run at an MNC. The schedule sets up great-if NU gets by Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, they should go into the Big 12 championship game unbeaten. The only other road games on the schedule are @Missouri, @ Baylor, @Kansas and @Colorado. Very manageable schedule with a roster that should be absolutely stacked.

I can't figure this one out really. Have the KSU mods explained why you guys didn't offer?

Congrats on beating out ku and CSU.  I'm actually kinda suprised we weren't in on him come to think of it.

    Hey, basketball!!!
The kid was located two hours away from Prince & Co. and they needed to see how he performed in his senior season before making an offer. And they've already seen video from his junior season.

I agree. That's especially the case if Gabbert, Lee, or Witt has cemented himself as the starter by then. The talent level in Lincoln is impressive.

Not sure, Rivals doesn't have him listed as a commit yet.

Thanks. I'm surprised that Prince has set his sights so low for recruiting. It seems like he should be able to swing some three and four star guys, especially if they're from the area. I wonder if you guys need a new recruiting coordinator? Our system under Callahan seems far more organized and efficient than it was under Solich. It's possible Prince needs to overhaul the way his staff recruits.

It's not the number of 4 stars that I worry about it's the number of 2's.

He'll probably be a JUCO placement.  Still considering our tactics of late, I'm kind of surprised we didn't offer.

lol...if Prince gets a kid w/ out an offer from NU then he's not legit.  If NU gets a kid in Kansas where many KSU fans think he is offering too many..and the kid does not have an offer from Prince....well, then he's legit.

Or something like that.

good stuff.

FYI, your favorite JUCO coach from Butler County thinks that Roepke is one of the best OL he's ever seen.  He's happy to have him at Butler.

I am not suprised that Prince didn't offer Parish.  Prince only offers recruits with no offers, because he knows he can't compete head to head in recruiting with anyone in the Big 12.

Then he doesn't get out much.  A OL who is a freshman at a JUCO is the one of the best OL's he has ever seen?  What like Top 5?  So, it's like...

1. Anthony Muņoz
2. Willie Roaf
3. Jake Roepke
4. Bruce Matthews
5. Will Smith

And no, you didn't specify what you meant so I can go that route.

First, you guys aren't getting A. Brown... unless you are the highest bidder... $$$$$$.  You can guarantee the $EC and Oklahoma "Probation" University has given him plenty of that.

The longer Harper waits, the less of a chance you guys have.  I have been told many times by KSU fans that he is a lock... then why hasn't he committed?  No one has given me a reason, just flame responses.
