My guess is that the kid's coach is his father and the father works him to death. It's a shame.

That was my thinking. There's always one kid that does. And then he ends up being 5'5" while all of the kids grow in high school.

Yeah, everyone had one growing up.  The guy im my class was named Josh and had pubes in 4th grade.  He was about 7 feet tall (5'7") and had the worst acne I had ever seen.

It's always funny that they had to start shaving in sixth grade. Sucks for them.

Dunno why you're hatin' on the kid.  That video was just the sickness...  Plays were well blocked, but that kid is special.

As I watched it, all I could do was wonder if that's what Sproles' little league film looked like.  But, he probably "peaked athletically in the 4th grade".

 ;)

He was a year younger than me and in the same district.  Saw him from pee wee through ksu.  he avg'd like 9 yds/carry in hs.

they made a rule in peewee than he couldn't run toss plays bc he scored every time.

Sanders HS video was just crazy good like that as well... How he only got offered by OSU is COMPLETELY beyond me still to this day.

I'm sure it was the size, just like sproles.  no one thought he could make it through a season in D-1 football.

My favorite Sproles clip was the one where the NU LB (S?) came flying in and slid on his ass about 5 yards past Darren.  Sums up Sproles' in one highlight.  That and, at full speed, his legs took about 4 steps for every one of the defender chasing him.
