    Hey, basketball!!!
If Freeman is talked about being a legit NFL prospect after this season, it's just a positive for us. Bottomline, that would mean that he had a very succesful 2007 season and most likely that our 2007 team did also because alot of the success of this season rests solely on the shoulders of JF.

And of course since he couldn't leave after this year anyway, it would most definately just be an excellent thing.

Freeman won't leave. Honestly, I used to think he would leave after his junior season, but now I am expecting to see him around for his senior year.

Josh Freeman is not capable of having a "huge year".   We should hope that Josh Freeman simply becomes a compotent above average major conference QB.  But he'll never be Vince Young or Matt Leinert while at KSU.

Hmm, I'd say that possibility lies somewhere between "unlikely" and "no way in hell."  Just my opinion though.

Agreed. If Freeman can even be just a little above average, we can easily be in that 7-5/8-4 type of season.

Which would just be all

Actually, I thought that before he ever took a snap. It is my thought on where the team would be positioned for his senior year that makes me think he would stay. If we get Arthur Brown, I think there is no doubt he would stay. 2009, with Freeman as a sr and bryce as a so, we would rock.

Freeman leave?  He'd have to have a Heisman season just to climb the charts as an Arena League pick.

He beat texas you idiot, while a true freshman, Vince Young only become dominant his senior year. Josh Freeman will develop alot this next year. I promise you that.

1) He didnt beat texas.  last time i checked he did not make all of the big plays.  hell when it really mattered it was nelson who made the play to seal the game, because he couldnt get it done.
2) Vince went early
3) smack talking is better left to people who know what they are talking about.
4) oh, and the ku game proved how much he still has left to learn

Anyone that thinks Freeman is leaving after this year needs to start their own thread, so we can talk about more important things.

I dunno.  We could easily take the title from this thread with a "Will Lucky stay Sober?" or "Will Keller 'crack' under pressure?"
