When is the Brown out?

When Arthur commits to OU or USC.  That is the first Brown out.  They second will come about a year later when Bryce does the same.

I thought people didn't like my idea of a Brown Out. If we are to organize one, it will need big support (which means we might have to get the powertards along with us). I don't think the shirts could actually say anything about Arthur or Bryce directly, as that might be a recruitment interference. I was thinking the Colorado game, but I am open for any other date.

Who wants to design a shirt? If we want to do this, we need to start a word of mouth campaign (facebook, etc) to get everyone informed. The blackout idea all started by word of mouth. However, I am worried that if its done, Arthur knows about it, and its a flop, our chances are then zero.

It's the greatest idea ever. Props. If we did pull it off, it would work. ECN should do a video promoting it.

ku game.  Let's do this.

ku game would be good, but I am afraid we will be competing with the die-hard blackout fans. I for one think that a black shirt would be better for the ku game, to make that a tradition and then wear brown at another game. However, I am not for sure....

How about this, Fatty, I delegate you the power to pick the game and then it will be final.

I've known Arthur since we were in 7th grade. I've played on 7-on-7 teams with him and Bryce over the years and theres always been the days when I'll g to Wichita to party with him or he'll come to my little farm town to go cow-tippin. As long as I've known him, he's been a k-state fan. I believe he would come to ksu, if they put effort into recruiting him.

Arthur would never waste his time on such juvenile activities as "partying" or "cow-tipping." IMPOSTER!*

*I'm a ku fan, btw..

I know I've shared some improbable stories on here, but this could potentially be very important.  I think we need a little verification of this friendship.  I'm not saying I don't believe you, I'm saying I want to believe you.

I believe him.  Dold thread adds more "legit-ness".

Word is that he wasn't a fan of anybody.  I guess they were just saying that.  I mean, sure USC, Florida, OU, etc, have great programs, but a lot of his friends are at KSU.  That pretty much sums up his recruitment, whether he wants to be a good friend or not.

Good point.

Good friends can be lost with long distance, for Arthur's sake he needs to stay close to home.

We played in a a7-on-7 tuourney a long time ago. We realized we lived close to each other and we've hung out a few times. Arthur is a guy who loves to have a good time doing anything. I know he loved k-state. I honestly believe it'll be between us and OU. OU has been on him pretty hard and he's gone to a few camps down there. Ive told him ksu is the way to go. Ive also told him he needs to throw some attention my way/

Alright......Fox, when the BB's get back to KS from their little trip around the country for the HS future players group, ask them if they would commit if we put on the brown out. Because it would totally not be worth it if they didn't....

BTW, from now on, you're our source for the BB's....

He has endless amount of ksu shirts. We'eve gone to one game together when we were freshmen but I know he's been to more. He can name many many ksu players. KState is his hometown team.

You've got to be joking now. With the way Prince & Co. are recruiting the BB's (BB's said the hardest) and if Bryce & Arthur have actually been life time KSU fans, why aren't they showing us more love???

And I looked up Norwich, there's no such thing.....

When have you talked to him last?  What are his feelings now towards KSU?  Is he still bothered that Frank Delarue had to walk on to KSU?

I havent talked to him since the beginning of June. Theonly reason he wouldn't go to KSU is to win a national championship. I'll give him a call when he gets back from his trip. He didnt take his phone with him.
