he was wearing slacks and a hawaiin shirt.

And I had the courage to go up to him and chat.

It was awesome. He hasn't seen my video but wants it emailed to him ASAP.

My life is now complete.  :beerchug:
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

No, he was stuck at the cashiers dealing with a retard high-schooler. I kept him company.

I'm a bit surprised he hasn't seen my vid.

Could I get more of a description of this alleged hawaiin shirt?  Has he updated the frames on his glasses?

Can't really recall, but he was very personable. His hand shake is very firm.

Thanks! At first, I wasn't go to approach him. Then I realized the "closure" it would bring. Brilliant.

If comments about my vid I'll post it here.

this is a cool story but instead of sending him the birth of kstate football video, you should send him Catlab 2000.  his comments regarding that one would be more interesting than "Fatty you are a very talented youngster..."

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Fatty, my high respect for you has just tripled. Not only did you speak to Bill Snyder, but he asked you to send him an email. When he responds to your email, you should let us know his response. I am very curious!

Fatty, that's awesome.   Althought I can't help but laugh a little knowing that you've got a couple of great plays, from great games in there, that were losing efforts.  I can hear Snyder now, "Great video, take out a couple of plays and it'll be perfect."

Last spring my dad came back from a business trip in Manhattan and while he was there he stopped by the stadium to look at where our new seats were, he also happens to be one of the installers of some new furniture in the press box, so he was in the stadium walking the concourse. Just so happens the old ball coach and my dad crossed paths and my dad, being a huge kstate supporter, had to approach him.  Like you said fatty, he was very personable with my dad and chatted for a bit about some random stuff like me (i know, weird, he asked advice on my football "career"), the new additions to the stadium, and my dad asked him what he thought of Prince, and all Snyder had to say was, "We'll be fine" with a huge grin on his face.  My dad always said that he would never walk 15 feet to get an autograph of anyone except Mickey Mantle (my dad's a geezer). But he did come back with an autograph from Bill Snyder.  I was happy for him that he got to meet him cuz my dad went through all those years of Kstate sucking and he finally got to meet the Legend.

I was in an elevator w/ Bill when I was 9 or 10. I was too scared to say anything, and I forgot to bring my football and pen so he could sign it.

Kind of similar, but funny instead.  When my Army reserve unit (based in Nebraska) got home from overseas, there was a welcome home ceremony for us.  In attendance was Tom Osborne.  Everyone got to walk on stage and shake every "important" person's hand.  T.O. decided he would chat up the only non-husker fan in the building, me.  "where are you from, what did you do..."  Blah, blah, blah.  After the quick Q&A I gave him a firm handshake and witha huge grin said "GO K-STATE!"  The look on his face was priceless.

Moew like utter disbelief combined with betrayal.  Keep in mind he thought he was talking to a good ole Nebraska boy.  Makes me smile every time I think about it.  And when I told my dad about it, he said he was proud of me.

The first time I met him was at the airport after the 1993 Oklahoma State game (otherwise known as "The Drive"). I asked him to sign my jacket, which he did, and he said that "I don't know if I should mess up such a beautiful jacket". A few months later it got dirty and my mom washed it and the autograph faded. I went to the next Fan Appreciation Day and asked him to sign it again. He said "I don't know if I should mess up such a beautiful jacket" but, again, he signed it. I NEVER wore it again. I've also got a few books signed by him.

Funny; I lived in Manhattan for nealy 6 years and only saw the guy once outside of the stadium.  I drove past him and a large group of people walking through aggieville; I was going to stop but couldn't find a parking spot.  I also worked at Blockbuster for 3 years and all I ever saw was Marc Dunn and his wife; which came in often and man was his wife hot; You guys suck.
