So I noticed the final cut for Rivals.com Ultimate Football team today and some of the selections kinda shocked me. Vince Young was voted QB over Peyton Manning and Joe Montana, with Matt Leinart receiving a mere 5%. I guess 1 big game amounts to more than a great career. Calvin Johnson received more votes at WR than Tim Brown, Randy Moss, Irving Fryar, and others. This just made me laugh; what joke. Otherwise, it's a pretty solid team. My only other problem was in the head coaching votes, where in 2nd place Tom Osborne beat out both Joe Paterno and Bobby Bowden. I think not.
But, more importantly, Rivals gave us the Ultimate college football team. KSUFANS, I wanna see the Ultimate K-State team! So dive into your old stat books and memories and put down who you think makes the cut at each position as K-State's best all time.
