As for your Webb comment Rentmoney, you do know he guarded Jordy Nelson for much of the K-State game, don't you?

I do think it's funny that K-Staters claim their offense torched Texas's. Weren't they outgained, and didn't miscues and special teams set up several of the scores?

It was a big win, and K-State deserved it. But please stop comparing K-State's win over what probably was a top-15 team in actuality to ku's loss against Texas in 2004.

ku lost to a Texas team that included Vince Young and would go on to win the Rose Bowl in the waning seconds. K-State actually won, but beat a team that would have lost to Young's version by 20+ points.

There really isn't a comparison.

So, ku near win vs UT in 2004 >>>> KSU's win over top 4 UT in 2006.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

You know I may be wrong, but isn't a "near win" still a loss?

I better go check wikipedia.

Funny thing is Mangino pretty much said the same thing in his presser before the KSU game.

It's fun beating top 5 teams. I can see why they are trying to do anything they can to get one.

LOL @ the "Texas miscues"...I guess when we had our punt blocked, another fake punt botched, and an int...we didn't set up Tejas very well for the 3 easiest TD's they had all season.

LOL at beaks.

And triple double LOL at the "Webb guarding Jordy"...well 1) Jordy had bad knee and 2) one of Webb's ints came when he was covering Jordy...problem was that Webb got torched on a deep out but Freeman underthrew it horribly...I guess that means Webb "guarded" Jordy.  And LOL at using basketball term for football.
