Skeptical on MU : they can't stop the run or run the ball. Says big 12 north is open.  ;)

Don't worry, he will tell us that KSU is crazy for being listed at 3rd and that ku is a lot better team because they beat us last year. :blahblah:

You mean he's taking time off from talking:

*about cooking
*about golf
*with his "friend" Danny
*about the cookie diet

Man, it MUST be closer to football season.

Please keep me posted as to when 810 gets back to mostly football talk.   Until then, I will not listen to all that crap.

I feel sorry for you KC-Midwest folks, sports talk out that way absolutely sucks.

NU fan just said Josh Freeman made a poor choice going to KSU because he doesn't have the players around him to be great.   :loly:

"What would Colt McCoy have done, put 49 on the board?"
"Uh, well, he woulda changed time of possession and K-State wouldn't have scored as much."

While the Royals have been worth discussing lately I'm waiting until August 1 to get back into my regular radio listening routine.

Not sure why that is funny considering McCoy played one series and it was a 14 play, 80 yard, 6 min and 53 sec TD drive.  If you think we didn't prosper with McCoy getting hurt then you aren't a smart person.

    Hey, basketball!!!
IMO that show is a total waste of time when not talking about CFB or CBB. It's even hard for them to stay on topic for that...

ok then, it's the extent of the impact McCoy would or could have had that is up for debate.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I think blaming a loss on losing a QB in a game where you scored 42 freakin' points is weak sauce. I don't think that's that outrageous.

op: you are one strange cat.

You forgot to add talking to his good friend, Jack Harry.  Man, he loves that guy.  Of course we all know Jack is an MU apologist along the lines of Danny for ku...just pathetic.  I hate the way Keitzman panders to them.  For years, it made me feel sick hearing Kietz talk about he just loved Pinkel because "that man is just a football coach."

If Ell Roberson hadn't gotten hurt in 03 we would have won the NC.

Sure would have been nice to have Watts, Moran, and Baldwin in that game...only 3 starters but hey, it was all about Colt McCoy.  I mean they're Texas and should have been able to just line up and run it down our throats...they couldn't and didn't.

1) I have never bet a dime in my life and certainly won't over the internet w/ a stranger.

2) I'm stupid.  Not crazy.

3) KSU has as much of a chance of winning in Austin as Nebaska does.

thanks for playing.

Ummm no you don't. See you're going down to Austin to play a supremely talented team hell bent on revenge. We're not.

Our starters missing weren't guys that don't touch the ball every play they are in the game.  I know you are too smart to think McCoy was not as valuable as those three combined.  My guess is you are stirring the pot but let's not be stupid.

Our starters weren't lost during the game so their replacements went through practice and meetings preparing to be the starter.  UT's loss of the most pivotal person on their team came during the game; therefore, meaning Snead went through the week preparing as the #2.  The game plan was likely to not be the same had Snead been expected to be the starter.

Manhatter, bad example.  In the end, we won and Freeman received invaluable praise that still gets the program exposure.

what if my aunt had nuts?

Colt McCoy doesn't play defense and special teams.  Does Tejas win if he is playing?  Probably but as it was they had a TON of vets playing who started or played a lot on the field of their national title team the season before...and it was a true freshman QB vs. a true freshman QB.  Quit making excuses for Texas.
