I thought about going to "Minsky's" but you guys said the thing about the parking and that scared me.

You're like two blocks away - it's a good sports bar by the way.

I have extreme anxiety issues.  I'd probably get within a half of block, see a few cars at the place and then turn around and go back to the Savoy and order room service because "Minky's was too busy".

Saul you prolly don't want to try to deal with Minksy's when there's a rivermarket concert going on, although I assume you'd be in/out of there before the concert got over.   BUT! You might like to try JP Wine Bar @ 16th and Walnut.  They just opened a full kitchen and it's just a few blocks south of where you will be staying.

both are great.  he's staying at the savoy on 9th and for a topekenese that's like a mega adventure trying to find waldo.  minsky's river market is one of the best places to catch a game and drink beers in kc.

Yes, but that still doesn't make it any more pleasant.  Some love it....not me.  I'm going to look super cool rocking out with my fetus amongst all of the teens.

I don't know any of the new Incubus stuff.  My favorites are from S.C.I.E.N.C.E. and Make Yourself, so hopefully they play a lot of that.

for a lot of people those things are cool. you have to remember that the plaza is a tourist destination for people driving in from nebraska, western ks, oklahoma, rural missouri, and iowa.  not everyone is lucky enough to live in topeka.  HAHA.
