Frank Thomas did the same thing a few years ago when the White Sox invoked the "Dimished skills" portion of his contract, which dropped him to ~5 mil a year.

Yeah, but at least he threw in that it was his lifestyle to support and he is acknowledging that his lifestyle costs a lot of &@#%ing money. Sprewell just said that he had kids to feed. Which makes me ask the question.. what the &@#% do you feed your kids?
