HI, that was from Huskerpediophilia.

Steve, mutually exclusive was incorrect on my part.    However the 23% comes from the dataset of Big 12 CCG participants.

The Keller is the savior stance would be a bit stronger if the guy had more than 4 wins in his career as a 5th year Sr.  Then again, starting more only 9 games in 4 year career will do that.

based on history, only 23% of the Big 12 CCG participants had a first year starting QB.

How many "first year starting QBs" are also fifth-year seniors, with big game experience against top teams like USC and LSU, and have scouts drooling over their first round NFL talent.

Apples to oranges. But it does amuse me how terrified you guys seem of what Keller will do in this offense...hence the daily threads about how he's destined to fail.

Name me a probable 1st round NFL QB that has transferred before his final year of eligibility?

No you name me a probable 1st round NFL QB making a nearly unprecedented transfer prior to his final year of eligibility, with big game experience against teams like USC and LSU, who has scouts drooling over his talent, who wasn't the starter at his former school, isn't missed by his former teammates, and hasn't been named the starter going into camp at his new school?  Is that cally stupidity or sammy talent that has him battling with who the f is that again? :loly:

Not related to the convo in this thread but here's a post from HI on their 2-star pick-up today
Quote
He had pretty good numbers for a RB, but NU plans on him playing Free Safety. At 6'0, 195 lbs, and a 4.42 -40, he sounds real nice for a DB. NU recruited him as a 2 star but our coaches know what they are doing. This is a nice hidden gem pick up!

So how come Prince can't find any of these hidden gems whenever he gets a 2-star?  :banghead:

Facts are:
he played in 23 and won 11 in limited playing time in a 3 year period.
Should I type slower for you?

Started in 8 and won 4.  Great resume.  Last I checked the middle relief guy doesn't get the win in mop-up duty.

I can't stand your arrogance in the face of ignorance so I'm gonna help you out here.  You only get credit for a win if you are the starter.  For 11 of those games that you say he won; he actually didn't get the win in 7 of those because he didn't start the game.  Regardless of the outcome of the game, he didn't get the win because he didn't start.  Make sense?  You really are a stupid &@#%er.

So, what you're saying is.... This sure-fire, first round draft pick was actually sub .500 against Pac-10 competition?
