You were better than us in Callahan's first year?

Ha.

Scoreboard  42-21.

LOL.

Keep trying to rationalize your mediocrity by pointing to Callahan's first year. It's actually really funny. In the meantime, we'll keep pounding you. Then you can ignore that and prattle on about how years back you actually beat Nebraska. That'll really be something to tell your kids and grandkids about, because with the recruits you're bringing in, beating Baylor consistently will be a challenge, you're not even in the same conversation as Nebraska.

Civic duty or community service????  Either way you're in the wrong place.  And check the archives bud, you're dreaming.

Educating the ignorant certainly feels like community service sometimes.

No, the number of Nebraska threads here reinforces that I'm actually in the right place...here to discuss the Huskers with everyone else.

Check out the front page...the fixation with Nebraska is pathological here.

I dont use Huskers Illustrated, and have no idea what they talk about there.

Here on the first page of the forum though, we have:

rivals OL star rankings..top 30 NCAA offenses...bad news for Nubb...
Purify Probably Drunk Right Now
Does anybody have highlights of the KSU vs Nu football 2003.
If Trevor Robinson decommits Nubb and commits to ND what will Big Red nation do?
Husker Board Meltdown
Corn FBall tix
uh oh for Nubb..
is the "sal is dead, go big red" true?
NU holding strong in Fulmer Cup . . .

That's not to mention the numerous threads that end up being discussions about Nebraska. Just on the front page.

Still not a majority of the threads.  And the only reason those threads are there is because they relate to KSU football.

OK I got my abacus and counted up 41 threads on the first page that don't mention NU in the title.  And the main reason others "become" nubb threads is because your kind infiltrates them or because we like to see you all flip out.  And the threads about nubb are to get a reaction   :baityes:  Nubbs provide great entertainment in the offseason.

I still havn't received an answer as to what bowl Callahan went to his first season and what station broadcast to game.  Surely they went to one!  Bandwagon Nebraska/Creighton Fan couldn't be that big of a complete F***ing Moron to make a flame about Prince getting to a bowl that was top tier in his first season unless Callahan went to a very good bowl his first year...could he?

Well, he did have us on the empty trophy case deal for last year.  Maybe next time we win the north we should make our own Big 12 (north) Championship Trophy.

Callahan can recruit, but he's one of the worst in-game coaches I've seen in a while. I went to the Cotton Bowl...dear f*cking lord.

Wow...were all of nthe tickets to the Texas Bowl sold out. Or was watching your own team lose by 40 to Rutgers too painful to contemplate. Or were you not interested in a game that wasn't even really televised, except on an obscure cable network no one gets. Or were you unable to find the Texas Bowl, as there's still a dispute over whether that's an actual bowl....plus I think it was played in late November.

 :flush: Kansas Light!!!

Um...I'm not a K-State fan. I'm a ku fan and all my family are Nubb fans so when they offered me a free ticket I figured why not. It's extra football. That doesn't retract from the fact that Callahan does terribly in the 3rd quarter and is loony enough to try and pull a fake punt deep inside his own territory at a critical juncture in the game. Even if it had worked, I would have said Callahan was an idiot for trying that, and I have a feeling if he had ended up at K-State or ku he would have driven those programs into the ground as mentioned earlier. It could be worse though...you guys could have Houston Nutt :ohno:

For all the criticism you guys have about Callahan, he's the coach of the defending Big 12 North champions, who came down to Manhattan and beat you like a rented mule last year. That's two in a row...and how many people think K-State has any hope of beating Neraska in Lincoln this year? Then compare the caliber of recruits we're bringing in. Suddenly life looks pretty bleak for the homosexual purple nation.

As far as Nebraska is concerned, we're the defending Big 12 North Champs, the cupboard of talent is stocked, and we're geared up for a Big 12 Title and BCS Bowl this year. You guys will be lucky to make it back to the Texas Bowl.

You all said that last year.

How many years will it be until it actually happens?

Did Barry win with Jimmy's team? If you had watched that Super Bowl, John knew exactly what plays Bill was calling. John laughed about it on side lines. Should we give all the credit for Prince's first year to Snyder?
Put down the crack pipe and no one gets hurt..
Bill Callahan destroyed that franchise. I'm surprised that Nebraska even made him their fifth choice.

I remember Nutt, Zimmer and Saunders telling Lincoln to get stuffed, who was the other one?

Nutt had to testify to exactly when and what he WAS offered you retard.  I live in NE and I have to deal with moronic Husker fans all day but none as dumb as you.  Every Husker in my office knows he and the others were offered.  It was on the local news here and the Evil Empire filters everything the news broadcasts.  I remember the sad look on Stevie P.s face when he had to board the jet alone back from Arkansas in, like, week 12 of the coaching search with no takers.
