You almost, in a curious freaky way, like watching an airplane crash, wish it would happen.

Nah.  To be honest I hope he sticks w/ Nubb.  I think he's a good prospect and want to keep those prospects in the North...and I hate ND w/ a passion.

But I won't shed a tear if it happens.  It is entertaining.

I think he stays, but I bet Callahan is watching his blackberry for a text message.

I think he's gone, and I'll break it down:

a. 5% will make goofy posts on message boards to try to be funny and lighten the mood. In response, others will question their IQ.  :ku:

b. 3% will probably make mean comments about Robinson and question his upbringing.  :ustupid:

c. 30% at some point will engage in an anti-Catholic, anti-Notre Dame rant on message boards or to coworkers.  :curse:

d. 60% will lament about the good ol' days with Osborne and his recruiting  :blahblah:

e. 0.0000001% will engage in an act of vandalism against Robinson that will embarrass everyone else.  :poundon:

f. 43% will convince themselves we didn't want Robinson anyway and are better off without him.  :fatty:

g. 5% will rationalize it on the message boards of other teams...err...ah crap.

And then you guys will make fun of us (ksu) and hurt our feelings....AGAIN.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Nah...Callahan strikes me as an iphone dork.  NU loves to brag about having the newest and biggest of everything.  I would be shocked if the loser didn't have an iphone.

Then 146.0000001% of them will require a math refresher course.

You're assuming exclusivity, but any of them would be capable of doing several things on that list at once.  Multibitching.

Yeah, I should have clarified that I guess. We have guys on Rivals that will say he is a sure thing, come back an hour later and say he is gone and his parents must have sucked at parenting, and then finally conclude that either all is lost or we are better off this way. They were credited in several categories.

Dissociative disorders are apparently rampant in situations like this.

Last I heard he was still committed to NU. If he ends up going to ND it will definitely be deflating but things like this happen all the time. Just got to go back out and keep looking. There's still lots of time left. Gotta love college football, even the preseason is frustrating, exciting, and depressing all at the same time. :)
