Ok so we landed Bennett and Young...that's a start. Who else are we targeting? Colon? Hannah? What happened to Baldonado? It looks as though we could use a PF. to help Bennet in the post. Bennet is big and talented, however he is still just a freshman, he can always use another big body to help. Fill me in...and what is the styrting lineup looking like? Martin at the PF? Young at the 2? What about Lance Harris? Sorry so many questions, I'm a Huggins guy, I went to UC, so I am new to KSU. Thanks.

I think Hannah and Colon are the top targets right now.  I think they're sending Baldanado to Duquesne.  A PF would be ideal, Kenny Williams would have been a great addition.  Lance Harris lost his long-range shot last year because he doesn't use his legs - overall, his season was pretty disappointing.  My early starting lineup:

1 - Taybron or Stewart
2 - Young
3 - Wright (Huggins will absolutely love this kid)
4 - Martin
5 - Bennett

Williams would probably be starting over Bennett if he made it to campus.

Does this mean Hoskins will be the 6th man? What is his story? More of a forward (powerful) or a shooting forward?

Hoskins can play the 3 or 4 and would probably be the 6th man.  He may beat out Wright for a starting spot, but I doubt it.

it seems to me that wright would make a pretty good 6th man/defensive stopper off the bench.  hopefully huggins will work on his ball handling skills, or lack thereof.  id start hoskins or harris(if he can find his game).  id also like to not have to start taybron or stewart but one of them probably will.

I say we put Young at the point and start Wright, Hoskins, Young, Martin, and Bennett.  Who cares if Young isn't a "true" PG?

If we get Hannah, we might have 3 new starters next year.

Huggins started Nick Williams at point for Cincy in '03-'04, he was not a true point. Tricky Nicky obviously did better the next season at the 2, but showed he could play point if needed. Maybe Huggs will throw that Young's way. Huggs is a sucker for a great defensive player though. McElroy, Stokes, and White were great, long on ball defenders.

Kent or Yearby.
