I just found this board the past few days and finally registered.

Per my handle, I'm in my 60's and a graduate in the 60's and not overly computer literate.

Dear 60scatfan,
while on this board you must realize that most of these people have no lives and they will take every opportunity to make fun of someone for mentioning old news.  It seems like if they have already heard the news then they wouldnt reply towards your comment, but AGAIN people on this board are assholes. they probably are 30 somethings that still live in their parents basements and sit on this board the whole day waiting to pounce on people that actually have lives.

It's not about having a life or not having a life.  It's the simple action of SCANNING THE FRONT PAGE OF THREADS - we even have a nifty little feature that tells you which threads are new - or have new posts in them. 

I don't really mind people posting old news, but I do find it hilarious when users play the "no life" card.
