The best lineman on a really good JUCO team.

His measurables look good.

Good pickup.  Wish we could get this kind of player right out of highschool though.  Sick of only having them for 2 years.

Why are we the only school to have offered? I mean, he doesn't even have a Colorado State offer.

I only skimmed the article, but I thought I read that Oregon State and Iowa State had offered.

I just looked at his profile. I'm too depressed to read right now.

    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Any highschool track stats listed?  Most Mountain West schools look over things like the hammer throw or long jump and that's probably the reason none have offered.

Seriously, folks, stars don't matter.

Remember when we went after 5 star Vince Young and instead got a little know, unheralded QB with zero offers from anyone else in the Big XII by the name of Dylan Meier.  Didn't work out so baddly, did it.

Okay, I'm going to say it. I believe the coaching staff actually knows what they're doing!

(Let the comments ensue regarding the picture caption)  :hope:

A couple of thoughts after watching the highlight vid (nice find, btw!):

Seems to be pretty solid against the run, which is a tradition we need to start returning to in a big way (anyone remember '02??).

Also, he does seem to have decent athleticism, as well as pursuit. Gotta love the "don't give up on the play" attitude, which it seems he may possess.

This is evidently a very good team, and it seems as if there were a lot of gang tackles, which may account for the lackluster stats. It appears that he was in on a lot more plays than show up in the stat column. And speaking of teamwork, have we offered #28? That DE kept showing up in a lot of plays too.

Edit: Easy to find... yep... I want #28. Package deal, anyone?

He does look like a guy that will require some double teams, and appears to be a guy that can plug up the middle; I'm okay with this pick-up.

#28 is Simi kuli, one of the best JUCO players in the country. It looks like he has a K State offer along with OU, Texas A&M, NU, LSU, Arizona, Oregon among others.
