In 2003 if Ell hadn't hurt his hand, we would have beaten Marshal and been contenders when we beat Oklahoma. That Marshal loss crippled us.

2000 team not getting enough credit. I think if OU didn't have the entire previous Wildcat coaching staff, K-State wins the Big 12 and is likely in the MNC game @ 12-1. That team beat a top 5 NU team in November and trounced UTenn in the Cotton. Lost 2 games to national champ OU by a total of 13pts. I think that was the two closest games anyone gave OU...and they had recruited and coached all our players.
