Throughout most of the game, our offense will be anemic and won't be able to do anything while ku has to settle with chip shot field goals and will probably get a saftey or 2.

But due to the squawkers inability to hold a lead or win on the road, they choke the game away and let the Cats tear them apart in the 4th quarter.

21-11 Cats.

Jordy won't have a big game. Chances are that Talib will be covering him and Talib is definitely a shut down corner. However, our other receivers will have great days.

Anyone see recently that Sporting News ranked the 66 BCS coaches? F-ing Fatgino was #35 (the 5th best coach in the Big XII). Prince was somewhere in the 50s (only ahead of Gene Chizik, if I remeber correctly).

Anyways, onto the prediction:
1 - ku does not win road games (see Toledo, OH last season).
2 - ku does not win games at the Bill (see many of the 50ish-0ish scores of recent past).
3 - Aqib Talib does not touch the ball, so claiming that he is the reason that the Hawks can hang is sad. We won't throw his way.
4 - No more Cornish - easily your MVP last year.
5 - Therefore, Cats win 31-17. Hawks may get lucky with a flooky INT or kick/punt return.

I never said that Talib was the reason that the hawks would hang. I said that he is the reason Jordy won't have a great game.

So....your "awesome" corner, won't win the game for you, ok, I give you that. I am just curious how Jayhawk fans (are any of you out there?) can be so confident that they will win at the Bill?

In all honesty, Kerry is a solid QB, but will struggle without Cornish to bail him out. I do like the Hawk D, as far as the LB's and secondary go, but will not go as far as saying they are a top 5 unit in the conference. I will admit that they are the most likely in the Big XII to have "team day" at the electric beach. Whomever has that great photo of ku Lb's looking so tan and, well for lack of a better term, gay, would you please re-post here for comic relief (although some fans picking ku are providing plenty with their bold predictions).

Freeman had, what I believe, will be the worst game of his career.  Jon Cornish had what might have been the best game of his career but I am too lazy to check that. You were at home and still the game was undecided half way through the fourth quarter.

This year, Freeman will have more TD's than turnovers this year by at least 2-1.  You will not have a back rush for 100 yards let alone 200 this year.  You will be soundly defeated and Mangy will be toast!  31-0 cats win! :ksu:

For my first post:  I say that ku doesn't make it on the field after Mangina falls down the steps he isn't used to.

Uh, dude... I picked K-State to win (I root for them, you know). I just said that Talib would shut down Jordy. Try reading the whole thread next time..
