Keep telling yourself that.

yep, we feel owned by Kansas.  Maybe that is the 1st head to head battle ku has won over KSU for a kid who didn't grow up w/ an allegiance to ku...can't recall many we have lost.  Bet the fact that ku has ZERO TE's on scholarship after the '07 season had nothing to do w/ it.

Congrats to you.  He's a good player.

    The very best.
F-ing ouch. Do we have the worst recruiting staff in the big 12?

I mean, we went from Raheem to Tibesar.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I guess they both like blocking, and/or facing the very real possibility of dealing with a new coach at ku.

Top TE at ku in catches last season-Fine with 28 catches, no other ku TE's listed.

At KSU Norwood had 36 catches, Mastrud had 17 last, and Pooschke had 6 . . . that's 59 receptions for TE's at KSU, compared to 28 receptions for the TE  position at ku.

not to mention the amount of times Prince threw to his TE's at Virginia.

I'm not gonna lie they both look like d-bags.
Last I checked, you aren't supposed to be posting on this board anymore. I'd say you're the douche.

1. you never caught the joke
2. you dont let things go
3. we are not getting kadji so take his picture off
1.You made a bet, and welched on it after you lost.
2.You're a Nub fan.
3.You have no idea about Kadji (Nub fans don't care about basketball)

got this in an email today:

"Frankfort (Ill.) Lincoln-Way East tight end/quarterback prospect Blake Hammond (6-foot-5, 235 pounds) has remained busy this summer.... 'I received an offer late last week from Kansas State,' Hammond said. 'I've been talking with my recruiting coach Tim Tibesar since the spring, and they have seemed pretty interested in me for awhile now. Kansas State is recruiting me as a tight end prospect.'"

So there goes the whole idea that we recruited him because Biere committed to ku..

ku continues to run circles around K-State in recruiting, getting its 3rd commitment in as many days.  Zach Stadther, the 6-foot-2, 275-pound defensive tackle from North Little Rock (AR) High School gave a commitment to ku after being recruited by the likes of Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Auburn.  Stadther, who recently attended camp at Arkansas, was the runner-up for the defensive MVP award.

I did kinda laugh at that one.

I don't know the numbers, but I'd love to see the Prince vs Mangino head to head record on recruits.  I know at one point last year it was like 10-1.

there you go...fixed it for you.

ku shutdown corner = charles gordon
ksu shutdown corner = terrence newman

does ku even have an nfl pro day? if so, why do they go to the trouble, nobody ever gets drafted from ku. we had a down season and only 2 or 3 wildcats got drafted. lol @ ku players considering going pro. nick reid DID come back to try out for the chiefs again. at least he tries, his 4.8 40 for some reason doesn't cut it against the 4.29 warrick dunns of the nfl. :banghead:

KSU stopped recruiting Boyd-Anderson.  KSU and Nebraska were early favorites and by the time the beaks got in the chase he was no longer being contacted by either.

Why didn't Arkansas give him an offer?

1. His forty time was not better than 5.0 (apparently a requirement by their DC).
2. Needed to evaluate him a bit further (translation: trying to land a few highly-rated DT first).

People at the Arkansas camp (who also follow Arky HS football) said he was a real good pickup for ku.

Why didn't Arkansas give him an offer?

1. Arkansas was going to offer him if he ran a sub-5.0 40, but that didn't happen.

2. Arkansas has six DT's on its roster, and only one is a senior.

According to a Razorbacks fan over on the Slant, Stadther is the best high school DT in the state.  Apparently Stadther was a 1st-team All-Arkansas selection last season and only one other junior made that team, current 4-star Arkansas commit, 6' 10" OL Matt Hall.  According to the Razborbacks fan, there's a guy named LaVunce Askew from Camden Fairview who has more offers at this point because of his measurables (taller, better 40). He's also a member of a team that is getting alot of hype this preseason and that helps his ranking. He said that Stadther plays in 7A and Askew plays in 5A, not near the same competition level.  Thought that Stadther was the better player.
