39-20 and 2-1 are the only "weak smack" things ku fans can come up with

They can't really use things like .....

winning record in conference (or .500 for that matter ..lol)
Big 12 champs
North Champs
finishing top half of the North
Huge win on national TV over top 5 team
Meeningful Bowl game played after X-mas day
tearing down the goalpost after becoming bowl eligible with a win over big bad Isu.......... oh wait, i guess they can claim this one  :kugayfight:

Since I've been at ku, we've gone 2-1 vs. K-State.  Another fact.

Well, BMW, since you only want to reference the last three years....

ku HASN'T WON A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN ANYTHING. You always pointed that out about us. Since you only care about three years, those glory days are gone. Man, you can't really call yourself a school with a traditional basketball program if you only quote three years.

Take my advice.  Next time you have a thought, just let it go.  Honestly, what the hell are you talking about?

He's saying that ku hasn't been an "elite" basketball school two out of the last three years. Two out of the last three years you guys have flamed out in the first round. He's making the point to illustrate how retarded it is to reference something like "two out of the last three years."

I don't know why you would want to talk basketball on the football board.  If you really want to go down that road, I'd be happy to put things in perspective.

It really has nothing to do with basketball. It's more to do with the fact that using such a small and selective time is ridiculous when trying to define something.

Yet the 63-36 all-time series in favor of ku has no significance according to K-State fans because it's over a long period of time.  You can't have it both ways.

The reason I don't care about all time series is because recruits don't care about it. Recruits don't care because they weren't even alive yet. I think the last eighteen years is much more important because recruits were alive and recognize it. That is why K-State will still get football talent more often than not over ku and ku will get basketball talent more often than not over KSU. I don't think two of the last three is really all that important unless there's been an obvious gap between talent of the schools. Recruits are going to care mostly about their lifetime so all time and two of the last three really won't matter all that much..

So you were a junior in high school when Kstate dropped a 64-0 bomb and you still enrolled?

ku education.

P.S. I was there. I laughed the whole time.
