I agree with Kassanavoid being a 2 star and Burris being a 2 star. However, both were ranked last night and are no longer ranked, that's &@#%ed up. Secondly, Crabby said that Klein was a mid 3 star and was better than Jack Elway just two weeks ago and now he's completely changed his tune. It's pretty lame if you ask me.

That is part of the problem here.  If he had an offer from a "name" program he'd be a star higher....for that reason alone.  Rivals is lazy.

Being a Pollyanna is one thing but calling out what you see when you see it is another. We all saw those numbers last night and they are now gone. to call it a glitch is laughable.
I have been in organizations and on sports teams in leagues where we were top dog and we knew as well the advantages we had and how other were screwed around and we said nothing why? Because we liked our curren t position on top and didn't care enough to point out wrongs. We would just snicker as we got calls or whatever. Point is Until those getting bent over care enough to make some noise the status quo will continue.

The only thing that is really fishy to me is Klein.  Look at his tape and his previous ranking.  If he was on Oklahoma's list he'd be a 5.6 rated 3-star, no doubt about it.  It's all about offers.  If they have an offer from a traditional program their rating jumps regardless of what rivals sees with their own eyes.  It's completely biased.  Why? Because they have to please the large fan bases to keep them jacked about their teams and keep them paying for their subscriptions.  Follow the money trail.  That's all it is.

Which comes first, the offers or the ratings?(not talking about 5 star players)  It's easy to grade 5 stars.  Just look and see who is an incredible athletes with skills.  After you get past the blatant 5 stars, it gets interesting with the biased ratings based mostly on offers.  I was mostly referring to the middle 50-60% with my previous comment.

Do you think Rivals is better at evaluating talent than college coaches? If you really meant what you said then there is no reason you should go off of Rivals' rankings either. I'm going off of offers/interest from big schools and what Crabtree said eleven days ago. It doesn't take that much intelligence to be able to determine that Childs should be above a 2 star and that Harper is a 4 star.
