I don't know how and I don't want to know...lol.  This is one of the signees I was just praying might get in.  LOL.

But ehadbeags did say it was a "preliminary yes" but wasn't completely for sure.  His buddy checking through the system probably was just going down a quick list and saying, "yes" or "No" type deal.  And ehadbeags wasn't sure whether he was one of the guys we expected.

If true this is awesome.

I hate these questions.  I'm gonna have to go w/ "both" on the answer.

McDaniel is a freakin' stud.  Likely a 4 star if he was every going to qualify but he was one of those rivals just sort of gave up on.

That is the only thing that is missing (and has been for 3 years now).  We've had capable receivers (when healthy), the o-line has just been ridiculously horrible.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the o-line down the road. I like Meyer, Stringer, Unruh and Viers and all four are just sophomores this year.  Stringer and Viers need to gain weight and strength but have the athletic ability and mindset for this system.  Unruh and Meyer I think will make excellent guards in this offense with some seasoning.  Just  need some of the young guys to step up Aufner looks like a good prospect to me.  It's a shame the Kriehbal kid left the program he had a lot of ability.

I think the constant changing of positions within the o-line will help out the continuity.

The continuity is solid since Prince continually screams that they are F'ing Pussies.  I mean, you have to get into a routine and stick with it.

I hadn't heard that, was this something he said recently at a catbackers event or something?  If he thinks Viers is ready and one of our best 5 o-lineman then I'm all for it but I'm not sure Viers is really ready.  I think he's still little light in the ass and he's pretty new to the position.  I could see making this move for the 08 season to get Viers on the field.  Prince must really like the kid if he's thinking of doing this because Bedore is a good center and I think we've got some decent depth and competition at guard right now.  It's more the tackle spot that has me worried for this season.
