What about the retard jerseys that say wildcats the back that they sell at wal-mart

I've heard that this "wal-mart" place that you speak of has crapty versions of almost everything.  Varney's?  Not so much.

Not to mention that all the coaches have been talking about new jersey's since the womans football 101 last year.

These may not be the new jersey's, but everything we've heard suggest that we won't see the old jersey's ever again.

Cub, you are out of the loop.  :users:

The design was finalized long before they were unveiled by the university.  Before that time, people in denial like you are now said that they were not the new jerseys even after they say a photo of a player wearing one in the locker room.  "Practice jerseys."  LOL.

Who knows... maybe the football staff wants an unveiling ceremony at the first home game and they're waiting to announce it closer to season beginning.  Several people on this board that have claimed to have ties with the university, and have been able to substantiate it with correct reporting’s of inside happenings have been saying for some time that the uniforms would be re-designed; and during the inaugural Football 101 for women, Raheem Morris first broke the news. This really isn't new.  Everyone's been talking about it off and on for the better part of a year now.

Why am i the bad guy just cuz i question the fact. I really dont care either way, and the wal-mart quote was just to tell yall that people make fake jerseys.

You're not the bad guy... just mis-informed.  We're trying to help you.

He's trying to say that the basketball jersey's were finished for a long time.  They were then unveiled after the Nike Contract deal.  The football Jersey's could have been finalyzed last month, in which they will have a unveiling within the next two months.

And Varney's has never sold fake anything.  If these were for sale at some Kansas Sampler it would be a different story.  But Varney's only sells authentic KSU gear.

Asked my friend on the team about what he new about the jerseys and he responded:

"i'm not real sure...everything is a big secret most the time...i heard there is gonna be some black on them though..but who knows, its hard to tell what he decided"

I checked in recently with my main man in the Ath. Dept. because I couldn't take the stress of this issue any longer. Wanted to see if he had any idea about a release date on the jerseys. This was the response in email.....
"I have no idea when Coach Prince is going unveil the new football jerseys.  I would think it would be sometime in the fall."

so once again, we continue treading water, wondering just what the deal is behind the mystery Varney's jerseys.......

I have a feeling that there's an alternate jersey that is still being worked on; and that's the reason for a lack of anouncement.  The purple Varney's ones were probably something that Nike had listed for sale and varneys jumped on ordering them, then they found themselves out on the rack.  Who knows, maybe these aren't even a finalyzed style of the home jersey... maybe that was a work in progress that Nike decided to sell to the public for whatever reason.

Or NIKE just put one out there, to make us think there were the new ones and hope we bite the bait and buy one. Then they will release another one for us to purchase after that.

I am really starting to thinking that their will be one with black on it like my friend said. Either another jersey or an alternate jersey.

Nike knows what they're doing.  They sell replicas of the jerseys worn on the field.  If Nike released them for sale, they're what's going to be worn on the field.  The athletic dept. screwed the pooch by not having an unveiling/press conference before they were available for sale.

FWIW, I actually saw them at Kansas Sampler.  They have high-quality K-State stuff.

(despite the fact that I'm a cub, I know what I'm talking about jersey-wise, though I don't have any inside contacts.  I'm kinda uniform OCD.)

Those Coliseum jerseys are the ones that look like total crap.  The Nike ones are kinda crappy for replicas, but at least accurate.  I sure wish they sold our authentics...

    The very best.
those HAVE to be the new jerseys.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

a quick edit job by jparker on the wabash to see what the roadies would look like....who can break out some clorox and bleach this baby to get rid of the greenish tint and make it clean white?  Touch up the purple a little.
