Michael Beasley is why KSU basketball is about to explode next season.  High quality recruits have come and held their place because of the top prospect in the country pledging to Kansas State.  KSU basketball has been running on Huggins generated momentum since he was hired just over a year ago.  Once we learned the class was going to be kept in tact after Huggins departure, hype has taken over for good.  Several National TV appearances are inked, College GameDay scheduled to show at Bramlage next season for the ku game, several publications project KSU as a nationally ranked team going into next season, Bramlage is certain to be packed all season long, new basketball facilities being built, and other quality recruits fill out the rest of the 07 class.  Today, we learn that top-ranked recruit, Kenny Kadji, is a strong KSU lean with a good possibility to commit next month.  Several other highly ranked 08 recruits have interest in playing for Kansas State.  The National Title is the limit for the program.

As Arthur Brown said, "great players want to play with other great players."  Michael Beasley along with Bill Walker tipped the dominoes for basketball talent and they continue to fall.  Arthur Brown has the same pull that Michael Beasley and Bill Walker have.  Kansas State has proven it has the support of a passionate fan base and administration to build for success in a very short time given success on the court.  Just because KSU is located in Kansas, doesn't mean we cannot be as good or better than the likes of OU, Miami, or USC.  Bill Snyder proved it, we have the people off the field to make it happen, all it will take now is people on the field, again.  Arthur Brown can tip the dominoes for the football program, and even better than Beasley and Walker, he can do it for a program in his home state.

Like the idea of this post; but it's just too long for the average 18 year old to read.  Please bold The Brown brothers name so that people will actually read through the entire post.

Thanks!

i read it, fully understand the idea. i think it is a main attraction to high level recruits that high level recruits will already be there when they get there.

I agree that is very true.  Really what I'm trying to say is, this is a unique opportunity for Arthur Brown to put his personal mark on Kansas State football forever; just like Beasley and Walker are going to do for the basketball program, just like OJ Mayo hopes to do at USC.  The thing that makes it a unique opportunity for Brown is that he can do it in his home state.  Going to Miami, USC etc., he will be another stud to go through their programs but he will not put a lasting mark on those programs.  Kansas State needs someone like him to take an initiative and tip the dominoes for the state and the program.  Then we will have a winner again, no doubt.

Bottom line... Wherever he goes, He'll still be special... Might as well go to the school that would love him the most.
