So I finally get around to reading the NYT's piece on Brown . . .

and about halfway down Brian Butler is quoting Bob Stoops and Pete Carroll making comments on Brown:

“Pete Carroll said he’s the best linebacker that he’s seen in seven years,” Butler said. “Bob Stoops said he’s going to win the Butkus Award two times.”

Hmmmm . . . what's the rule on coaches making comments about recruits to others?? Is Butler Brown's legal guardian??  He's not his High School coach.   Somebody needs to start auditing Butler's bank account and driveway.

OR, we could cut our losses and focus our resources elsewhere.  Every communication that is sent from a KSU coach to a "Butler kid" is a waste.  Focus those where they will have ANY positive impact.
