"word from a big 12 coach" on KSU?

Basically a carbon copy of what I've been saying. Said he was shocked that KSU made a bowl last year and beat Texas, we had no business doing that. Says Freeman is very talented and goes out of his way to single out Patton calling him "excellent" and saying he has great balance. (no mention of james johnson)
Then goes on to say he doesn't think recruiting is going very well, and that we offered a bunch of players that had other big 12 coaches saying, "wtf" Ended it by mentioning that our O-Line has been terrible the last couple of years.

Good stuff, didn't read the other big 12 teams though.

And pretty much that synopsis/break down of KSU football is spot on.  I wonder who the "WTF's" were? Freeze, Aufner, Kirk, Roepke, Mack?

All of those guys would pretty much be WTF's except for Clyde Aufner. Very legit O-Linemen.

it's pretty obvious who said it.  No need to even pretend that statement came from anybody but a ku coach.  It's the only staff who would care to throw that jab in there.  They know what is being talked about on sports talk radio and internet message boards..they know Athlon's will get read by those people and posted on boards.

Rohleder, Freeze, Kirk, Cuba, and Drinkgern....look at any Louisville, West Virginia, Boise, Iowa, etc. classes over the past 5 years and there are a number of "wtf" offers.  Big deal.

Did the coach happen to say anything about Barfield and the twins out of Lawrence?

I doubt 5 kids will make or break the roster.
