Mizzou has not returned a KO for a TD since....1982.

KSU had 3 last season (2 in Big 12 play: Patton - OSU, Johnson - beaks)

Unreal that a program at any level has not had a kickoff return for a TD in nearly 30 years.

    The very best.
Nice stat. LOL.

How about their weird domination vs the south?
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Mizzou is just weird, period.  LOL at a state of nearly 6 million and only one D1A program.

Going back to South domination...can you explain it?  Tech can't beat them for whatever reason.  And aTm needed weird Franklin fumble at 2" line to pull it off in Collie Station.

LOL at suckage '02 bowl-less Mizzou team going into Collie the week after aTm beat #1 OU and winning.  WTF?

The stat I saw a few weeks ago that I couldn't believe was that Missouri has not won more than 8 games in an entire season since 1969.  That's almost 40 years of straight up mediocrity. wow

I wouldn't classify 8 wins as a mediocre season.

They have NEVER won more than eight games, and those were few and far between. That is mediocrity.

To me
6-8 wins in mediocre
3-5 wins is bad
0-2 wins is terrible and embarrassing.
9-10 is good
11+ is great.

So 9-2 is good and 8-3 is mediocre.

Snyder should be praised for his cupcake scheduling.  Had we played a touch OOC schedule and lost one of those games 93, 94 and 96 would have been mediocre seasons.  No wonder Solich was fired he was only barely good his last year.

Think back to the 70's though....Most football games were, at most, 10 games.

8 wins in 10 games is better than mediocre.

MU still sucks though.

It would be 9-3 and 8-4 and that is not including post season.  Unless you play a ridiculous OOC or play a tough SEC schedule, I think 8 wins is mediocre, especially since they added a 12th game.  I was speaking more in general terms anyway.  Solich won 10 games that season he was fired, that's really good.

I agree there is a different threshold in a 13-14 game season (12 regular + bowl + conference champ) and a 10 game season (e.g., 1969).   So expectations for current season should certainly be higher given the increase number of games.

So Bullfn, I'm just curious but do you think Snyder was a mediocre coach?
