and he was clearly the best TE today at Columbia Nike in a group that featured Mizzou 4 star commit Andrew Jones who has offers from OU, Nubb, etc.

Interesting.  Perhaps Prince can do some evals?

That is not to say KSU will land Biere but other schools are now piling on.

I think Biere will end up at ku unless he gets some better offers. Starting as a frosh means a lot to this kid and ku is telling him he'll be able to. Hatter, who looks better.. Biere or Bassett?

ku is telling kids what they want to hear.  We're in dire straits at TE IMO.  Mastrud is slow, slow, slow...he's a good route runner, sharp, etc. but he's slow.  Lose two to graduation.  Alstatt will only have one more year and he struggles adding weight and holding onto the ball...he's just not that good of a TE.  Pinchback is likely headed to OL.  And Mack may not be able to put on the weight.

Honestly...Prince had great TE's in his offense at UVa and he uses them a ton...Mastrud is not on that level and who knows if Mack can put on the weight to get there.

I watched Biere's video when it first came out and I really liked him though I wondered about his size.  He's really smooth..runs very well and just looks like a natural catching the ball and making plays. 

No video on Bassett yet but apparently he's a damn good prospect.

I've like Biere for a long time as a tight end, and I'm hoping our coaches offer him rather than looking all over the country for what is right in front of them.

I could be wrong, but I think if Nebraska offers he will commit.
