Yeah, going to the back-to-back National Champions, and a school that's been in 4 Final Fours in the Last 12 years is always a "big step down".    :bs:  :bs:  :bs:  :bs:

Classic squawk.

Tradition doesn't fill the trophy case.  It just buys enough feather dusters to keep the cobwebs off yours.

I guess if you're a ku fan, it has to be about tradition.  Puporting yourself as an elite school certainly can't be about winning national championships.

You can't believe that.  Nobody is that stupid.  College sports are about money.  Florida has lots of that.

They do now.  Tradition is something you constantly create by winning.  ku has a longer tradition, but that really doesn't matter to 17 year old kids.  They just want to be able to wear championship rings and and do stupid dances with Jim Nance and Billy Packer on CBS after cutting down the nets.  They know that  they can do that at Florida.  At Kansas?  Not so much.  All they've ever seen Kansas do is lose the big one, then watch an old gray-haired coach cry about it.

Look kid, it isn't all about winning National Titles, it's about long term tradition.   Why would you want to go someplace that's won back to back national titles, when you can play here . . . where we have long term tradition.

The Florida job has to interest him somewhat.  He could be following the Roy Williams plan and win a championship in his second year after bailing on ku.

I would love the ruckus it would cause, but they'll go with Grant.

Who was talking about KSU?  Also, I like playing the tradition game.  Based on your philosophy, recruits should be knocking down the doors to come to K-State since we have a Top25 bb program all time.

Go ahead and start back-tracking.  I'll wait.

We're not the ones claiming "Tradition" is the key to college athletics. Dumbest thing I ever heard...

Hilarious.

Mancer ripping a schools "tradition", who has more national titles in the last two years than ku in the last 50.

LOL.  Only a ku fan.

In this thread, we have a KSU fan bashing ku for a lack of NC's while a different KSU fan claims KSU has a top 25 tradition even though KSU has won zero NC's.

Only Wildcat fans.

KSUCK a top 25 program of all time??  Yeah maybe if you start counting from the bottom

And yes it is about tradition, with Donavan gone Florida will slide back into nothing once again. If Kansas and Florida were to recruit the same player heavily, 9 out of 10 times the kid is coming to Lawrence

A. One random website (that also doesnt work) listing KSUCK as a top 25 program doesnt mean crap.  Show me something credible from a realistic source or hell show me something that even merits KSUCK being mentioned at all besides the most embarassing streak in college basketball?   So no this does not in fact make you a top program unless like I said peviously...you count from the bottom.  Top programs dont skip out on the postseason for decades at a time retard.

Again, one random website doesnt mean crap. Top programs dont take decade long breaks from the post-season, that right there eliminates you from any contention on anything worth any relevance
