I've only been to Chipotle once. Very disappointing, not sure what all the hype is about.

I used to be the same way Saul.  I'm a Baja Fresh man myself but since no place in KS can support it (Kansas City tried) I figured I'd bite the bullet and give Chipotle a try.  The trick is to get just a little bit of rice and then get the fajita burrito w/ steak.  From there you want no beans, Pico De Gallo, green sauce and a little bit of cheese.  A pretty good freakin' burrito but still way overpriced.

Just got back from Chipotle.  Easily 100+ people in line.  Fortunately, with the lightning quick staff on hand, I only stood in line for 16 minutes.  Fajita burrito

It was crazy.  I'll try and describe the line.....

Started at the patio entrance, proceed to where the register is, go inside the seating area, walk back towards the patio door, turn around and walk back towards the middle of the restaurant, then proceed completely around the outside of the seating area.

They were literally throwing the ingredients onto my burrito.  And it tasted wonderful.

Recent developments place KatKid at the intersection of 11th and Bluemont. It was cute. KatKid throws cigarette butt on ground and steps on it. His girlfriend then tells him to pick it up. KatKid picks up cigarette butt and throws it in trash.

I wonder if she makes Clams throw his butts in the trash..?

I hate to tell you but we drove by three chipotle's tonight and that line was literally a quarter mile long in all three places...this was at nearly 8pm tonight.  So it isn't just manhattan.

Oh it was official.  The problem was everybody knew about it.  Drove by at 7:30 and the line was out to the patio after going through the seating area, went back around 9:30 and the line was a little longer.  No burrito is worth that kind of wait.

On another note.. It has been reported that KatKid was eating at Rockabelly last night, not Hibatchi Hut like originally thought. He's also doing much better at Chipotle. He also says that he would like a new car. Take it FWIW but I heard this straight from the horse's mouth.

Whoa there, nacho boy.  I can confirm that chili con queso has been enjoyed there on an occasion or two.  Note:  It was more than ten years ago.  Also note:  It was after two beers.
