If the spring game was any indication, Freeman will definitely be one of the top QB's in the Big 12.

A lot of what Freeman does this season will be determined by how he recovers from the yet to be disclosed possibly career ending injury he recently suffered in a bad mountain bike accident at Tuttle.  I'm not saying another word so don't try to get me to.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Brady Quinn passed for 1,831 yards and nine touchdowns with 15 interceptions in 2003 as a freshman at Notre Dame. The Irish finished 5-7 that season. As a sophomore, Quinn passed for 2,586 yards with 17 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Each year he steadily improved.

I could see Josh being the next Brady Quinn. He's already got the cheesey ass smile going.

    The very best.
Anyone see stafford's stats?

What Freeman did last year was remarkable.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I'm not expecting much more than we got last year.  I hope I'm pleasantly surpirsed, but with our luck... who knows.

After Josh throws 3 picks, no TDs, gets sacked 5 times, and fumbles twice against Auburn, I hope he has the mental toughness to stay focused for San Jose State.  It can be tough on a guy to have the last 4 outings in front of paying customers be that bad.

Maybe Liu and Sims will make everything all better.

Are we going to the darker purple on our jersey's cause it appears we're placing some darker splotches of purple on them, I wonder if we're just trying that out?  And check it out those darker splotches match the stripe and powercat on the helmet

I did. Freeman was in good company. He'll be fine if your line plays well.

    Overkill. It works.
Its tough knowing what to expect.  If he's going to make more progress & get us to another bowl this year, our O-line is going to have to make a quantum leap in their development.

Yeah, I see that one of our fans already ran with this crap over to tigerboard, and now he looks like an ass. I keep hoping all of our fans will quit biting on the random Freeman rumors on this board.  :users:

There are many naive husker fans out there.  It's damn near impossible to resist, especially in the offseason.

I have it on good authority that a full 75%* of the offseason "insider info" posted on this board is fictitious bait designed to mess with rivals' heads.

I think there is a 267% chance that Freeman will be 23% better in 2007 . . . maybe.
