K-State crew are a bunch of pimps. In a good way. They rolled in four deep - Wally, Mo, Burns and Franklin - and cased the joint. They showed up at like 3:45, way before anyone else. Franklin, as you all know, is personable as hell. Real smooth cat. He made sure he was front and center for everything Arthur did. I'm telling you, if K-State doesn't land this kid, it wasn't from a lack of effort. As Franklin told me, "We're going to outwork everyone." He's not kidding.

But... a couple of head coaches showed up with national championship rings on. And they weren't named Pete Carroll. I mean, that's tough to trump, you know?

While the coaches rings are cool there is nothing to say Prince can't get there if the bigs like Arthur and Harper stay home.  If Snyder was a Bishop fumble away then we can get back there.  It just takes kids like Arthur and Harper to step up and lead the way.  "Uplift the state" as Prince told them.

Not that seeing him is any more special than seeing James Franklin, but it looks like it is Prince that is getting outworked.

IMO, it's really absurd to think we would land any of those kids (Brown brothers, Harper).  In the article that J-Mart wrote,  you could basically see those kid were star struck by coaches from the elite programs.  I know J-Mart thinks A. I never thought I'd see the day where you posted a KState Crew update.  Those rowers are something special, aren't they?

If I were any of those recruits, I'd probably go Florida, USC, or OU (probably OU, cause BV is dreamy).  It's probably their best shot at playing for and winning a national championship during their playing career.  We might get to the Big 12 championship during that time.

Brown or Harper.  And it's not like I'd be unhappy if we did land A. Brown or Harper, I just don't think we will.  Lamark didn't have to turn down the programs that Brown or Harper would have to.  Same with Freeman.

We battled Freeman with NU and Lamark from MU, NU, Arkansas, Indiana.  If we were battling A. Brown and Harper against those teams, I'd feel 10x better.
