Florida has the #3 recruiting class right now I think.  It's been a while since I checked.  A commitment from a five star could put them ahead of us.  A commitment from 2 five stars would really put them ahead of us.

As long as Patterson doesn’t choose West Virginia I am happy.  If he doesn’t choose either Kentucky or West Virginia I’m overwhelmed.  I would rather see him go to Florida than Duke too.  I don’t hate Florida.  Can’t say the same for the other schools he is considering...

I am willing to give up the #1 spot if both of them go to Florida.  Because if both of them go to Florida, Florida won't have enough schollies in 08 (they already have a commitment from some pg) to offer the GRCOAT 2.0 guys that we are against them for.  Kadji, Woods, etc.

I will probably spend at least an hour browsing the meltdown when patterson commits somewhere else than kentucky.  They'll be 0-4, and they've all been touting patterson as the best and most needed of the four.  Probably true, especially considering they supposedly have no frontcourt.  It will make their meltdown that much better.

I think it would unless PP is a one and doner. And Fla might not ever offer KK if they get PP. That would definitely help.

It would be easy for Martin to spin the fact that PP isn't a one and done while showing we have an immediate need for a 5 regardless of our defections.
