I don't think I am even capable of crying...

It's pretty amazing that the best possible football recruiting class isn't nearly as good as the best actual basketball recruiting class.

Football doesn't have guys that can leap straight to the NFL.

We won't get A. Brown.

Sane people.  Like the nurses that come into your room and the therapist that you visit once a day.

Agree 100%. #1 football class>>>>>#1 bball
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I'm going to have to call you out on that 100%.  We all know you cry often.  We all also know that we'll be lucky to ever have a top twenty football class.  Here come the tears.

That's probably because it's a lot like trying to imagine a round square.

and Florida State.

It is insanely hard to do it in football.

In fact, it is an impossibility for a school like us to pull it off.

A number 1 recruiting class in football isn't nearly as significant as a number 1 class in basketball.

Dumb.

We just showed you why that isn't true.

Kansas State and Florida State have recently gotten the #1 basketball class, FSU hasn't done a lot with theirs, and it remains to be seen with us.

The #1 classes in football lately, USC, FLORIDA, LSU...all BCS winners and National Title winners.

ok, you named one team (florida state) that hasn't done that well with their recruiting class. i just think that baskeball relies more on talent and football relies more on getting good athletes and great coaching. look what snyder did with mediocre recruiting in the late 90s.

The BEST basketball players stay one year.

So, in football you keep that 5-star, #1 player for 3-4 years, in basketball...1.

Which player is more important?

Don't get me wrong, I love basketball and all, but it's just so lame compared to football.

I like football more. I'm just saying that having the number 1 player/recruiting class in basketball is more significant than the number 1 class in football. Seriously, 5 starters compared to 22. Basketball is a game where one player can make a team good, football isn't. The only two positions where one player can have a huge impact on a game in football are QB and RB and even then it isn't guaranteed.

Fact:

Snyder Era>Altman/Asbury/Wooly Era

Prediction:

Huggins/Martin Era>Prince Era

Following football recruiting is pathetic...

http://www.ksufans.com/forums/index.php?topic=3676.msg36106#msg36106

Actually, I do agree with what I said then.  There is more drama in basketball.  But I would probably faint if I saw "Arthur Brown commits to Kansas State" on the front page of gopowercat.com.
