But I put it here because of this:

Pete Carroll and Ken Norton . . . "bumping" perhaps:

Quote
Incidentally, the man No. 1 on the list, Southern California's Pete Carroll, visited East High and Northwest High last week along with assistant coach Ken Norton. The duo, accompanied by Butler, watched film and made a point of passing by and being seen by Arthur Brown and Chris Harper, with whom college coaches can't have direct contact.

Great Column all the way around though.

I didn't see Fatty's post on the Doom board, but I'll leave it up because I am curious if what USC did was "bumping" . . . Ricky Neweasel got rung up for bumping at CU.

Does it matter if Carroll bumped?  USC has proven untouchable- look at the Reggie Bush incidents with his parents living in an agent's million dollar house and the fact that he himself was contacted by former USC players illegally during his recruitment.  Matt Leinart had some issues surrounding him too but I can't remember specifics.

The NCAA is allowing the big kids to run the playground.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Hey a Notre Dame booster chick can take players on trips and give them cash, and Notre Dame basically goes unpunished.

Like Tark said . . . "The NCAA was so mad at Kentucky they gave Cleveland State another 2 years of probation" .

I am just curious if that really is "bumping".
