I'm thinking in June or July, a tailgate/Royals game/chance to meet other posters and get piss drunk.

Serious replies only. I don't want to schedule something and have no one (or only chum1) show up.

Hell, I'd go all by myself and wear my KATPAK'R t-shirt, but it's just too far away. The last time I went to a Royals game, I saw Sal Fasano get hit by a pitch. The cool thing about that was that he (at the time - and may still) held the single season record for getting hit by pitches. It was his specialty.

I had to check. I was way off on that particular stat (which is okay because baseball sucks). He was tied for second in the AL that year. My version makes for a better story, anyway.

Ya it'd be hot, hence the beer sales...They have two weekend homestands in June, I just wasn't sure if that'd be too soon for those of us who can't just hop in a car and go - and need 6 months planning time in advance. June is just around the corner but I'm down for whatever.

Some Fridays are Buck night at the K. It's a promotion, $1 Pepsi's, Hotdogs, and Peanuts. I doesn't really matter but there tends to be less annoying kids at the games following Buck nights since parents bring them to the cheap night instead. Really, I'll go whenever. I need to get out to the ballpark more.
