It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Wow.  Mangino is a better coach than a former NFL guy (Wannstedt) and only one behind another, Al Groh.  He's also ahead of his protege in fatness, Charlie Weis, and only two spots behind Greg Schiano of Rutgers.

That must mean he's such a good coach that he must have multiple bowl berths and division titles, right?

I'll admit... I did...   But I'll also admit, that I was wrong to want him.

when ksu loses in boulder, it always hurts more when those sexy liberal CU buff fans scream, "AND YOU STILL LIVE IN KANSAS"

43. Gary Pinkel, Missouri

Remarkable.  I bet Pinkel started out at #20, but then when it came down to the end he "Pinkled" his way to #43.

Latin is a "dead" language.  His bloodlines aren't dead.  There is a region called "latin" america.  There has to be some sort of connection to spanish speaking folks in there somewhere.  mj should be able to explain it since he's the expert on the subject. :)

And I think "west virginia" may be turning into a seperate race, though I'm not sure.

quite false.  some pre vatican 2 catholics still conduct latin mass.  you can catch a wonderful service in st. mary's if you like.  oh, and they're st. maryian, not spanish.  they're also not monkian.

is richrod from "latin" america?

    DOD Take Two

So this is how they would rank the Big 12 then....

5. Bob Stoops, Oklahoma- Hate to see it, but w/seniority you have to agree
10. Mack Brown, Texas- echoing comments on recruiter>coach
21. Bill Callahan, Nebraska- ? See first year at UNL
26. Mike Leach, Texas Tech
35. Mark Mangino, Kansas (Obviously the author wasn't prejudice against Fat Men)
37. Dennis Franchione, Texas A&M
38. Dan Hawkins, Colorado- Who cares about other schools, whats his record in the Big 12 and why is he up here?
43. Gary Pinkel, Missouri
50. Guy Morriss, Baylor- Only above RP becuase they beat us last year
52. Mike Gundy, Oklahoma State- young gun
57. Ron Prince, Kansas State- 3-4 against coaches on this list.
66. Gene Chizik, Iowa State- New guy on the block

11th in Big 12? Prince has some proving to do.

I think idiocy is alive and well would be a better assessment.

Mangino @ 35 is insane (ahead of Francione?  Really?)
Tommy Bowden below Wannstedt is crazy

It was a sarcastic comment.  Not to be taken so literally.  I know of many Catholic Churches that conduct Latin Masses.   That's really irrelevant.   The Language is dead.
